Oster Nail Grinder Do Nail Grinders, Such As The One By Oster, Work Very Well On Big Dogs?

Do nail grinders, such as the one by Oster, work very well on big dogs? - oster nail grinder

I have a pittbull 80 pounds completely mad when you use the mower. The veterinarian must be sedated. Who knows, if the purchase of the Easter nail grinder would be a good investment? Are they too loud? Work with the big dogs? All ideas and thoughts are welcome!

There are occasions when I had a muzzle on dog nails done ....

I know many people who use their works Dobes and German mastiff, so I know that can be used in larger dogs.

DP would have a better insight on this topic.

You can loud noise and I feel full of bumps in the grinder, could interfere with the dog at first. But they are faster / easier than trying to nail a clip of attack dog, and you can not really "fast" with a mill ... Burning tip of the nail.

It may take several specific courses you let your dog used to the sound and feel of the sander and quiet stay sober, but I hope it will be consumed.

I use - a nail grinder My dachshund standard "his struggle at first, but after a few sessions to learn to adapt to" go to your happy place "when it makes sense!

I think that a dog must be sedated, is a freak Dremel. I use a Dremel, my Dane, but I started when only a few weeks and had been used. What do you do with this dog is to go slowly and try again. Find someone to keep the dog on the floor and one or 2 nails and take. Hold the pressure until it is calm and sociable, and let go when you are relaxed.
Away with him only encourages the behavior.
But do not try and nail. Let him know that little by little they are wrong and if he does well, praise him. Do not use words and actions during this operation. No sense in crying or turning it into a fight.
One of my Danes hated nails done and now it is not, or something, but it still works and we know that the treatment received, if any of you.
Be patient and take your time and start the whole process.

If you decide to use a grinder to go very slowly for the first time just entering the mill on each nail, but not reallyYou take something for the first time. The race will be just the usual. Can serve also to sandpaper, you get fatter. Do you work faster and celebrate the good things in the plan is too long and stormy. I also use a firm grip on the nail to reduce vibration. Just a quick tap on the first. What an enjoyable experience and always finish the session on a positive note which method you choose. Need up and running and not stop, so twisted and evil act. We need to stop us on a high note at a time. They have a treatment for immediate reward if he is good.
